1. Plug in your password protected USB drive

2. Open My Computer

3. You will see something similar to the screen below



4. At this point your USB drive cannot be used. If you check the memory size it will show as 1MB.





5. In order to unlock your USB drive and get it ready for use, follow the instructional images below:





6. Now your USB drive folder will close and you will have to re-open My Computer in order to access your unlocked USB drive. See the images below:



7. If you check your memory size on the USB drive you will see that the whole drive has been unlocked. The sample images use a 128MB drive however, the numbers will differ depending on the size of your password protected USB drive.





8. You are now ready to use your USB Drive.

9. The only way you can lock your drive again is by physically unplugging it from the system.
